Honey is known for its antimicrobial properties, thanks to the presence of enzymes, acids, and a low pH (3.5) that hinder the growth of bacteria, but also antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activity of honey.
For the skin is a power moisturizing, anti-bacterial and rich in antioxidants, honey rejuvenates the skin and delays aging.
In Bee it, we use GAMMATO Honey in the dermocosmetics line ‘HONEY CARE’. It is a normal honey – in our case: Italian, organic chestnut honey with high enzymatic content – that is irradiated with gamma rays, which ensure consistent and reproducible quality. The “gamma treatment” maintains and protects the organoleptic properties of the honey without altering them, ensuring quality, safety, and purity from external agents. Gamma honey prevents bacterial growth, thanks to the slow release of hydrogen peroxide in low doses, allowing for the use of Honey Care products on wounds and skin scars, as innovative and natural method for the care of the skin’s microcirculation.

Apply before sun exposure on the legs with a circular massage from bottom to top, and reapply frequently if the skin becomes wet.
